Mumbai: TV actress and social media influencer Urfi Javed recently took to Twitter to raise the issue regarding the struggle of renting a new apartment.
The actress said that it is difficult to find an apartment in Mumbai and both Hindu and Muslim owners do not want to rent the apartment to her.
‘Bigg Boss OTT’ wrote, ‘Muslim owners don’t want to rent me a house because of the way I dress, Hindi owners don’t want to rent me because I’m Muslim. Some owners have a problem with the political threats I get. Finding a rental apartment in Mumbai is so difficult.”

Another user wrote: “Sorry to hear this. If you prefer to come to Kandivli Borivli, I can make an appointment for you in a fancy flat. Don’t underestimate these areas!”
Meanwhile, the actress was called by the Mumbai Police for an investigation related to a complaint filed against her by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Chitra Kishor Wagh for “indulging in nudity in public”.
