The number of COVID-19 cases in India has risen by 134 in a day while the number of active cases has fallen to 1,962 according to Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday.
India has recorded 4.46 crore Covid cases so far. The death toll stood at 5,30,728, according to data updated at 8 a.m.
Daily positivity was recorded at 0.07 percent, while weekly positivity was 0.08 percent. Active cases now make up 0.01 percent of total infections, while the national recovery rate from COVID-19 has risen to 98.80 percent, according to the Department of Health’s website.
