It’s been a while since the team of Suriya’s upcoming movie with director Siva gave an update on the movie. The film is currently titled Suriya42 and marks the debut of Bollywood actress Disha Patani in the lead role. The last heard about the film was that the Hindi rights of the film have been acquired by Pen Studios for a huge sum. There were also speculations about the film’s title, but it has not been officially confirmed yet. Concerned Suriya fans have now posted posters in different parts of the city asking for an update.

Meanwhile, a video of Suriya in Mumbai is doing the rounds on the internet. It is speculated that the team is ready to start shooting in Chennai from January 21 and the first-look poster will probably not be released until Suriya’s birthday. Suriya42 is widely shot and the actor will be featured in the movie in some kind of superhero role. Many also speculate that it is a reincarnation drama.

The title announcement video gave a glimpse of a battlefield and Suriya looked over it. An eagle sits on his shoulders. The music for the film is by Devi Sri Prasad. This is the first time that Suriya and Siruthai Siva have teamed up for a movie.

In the meantime, many fans are angry that the actor did not wish them on the occasion of Pongal. It is customary for Suriya to drop a picture of herself or wish fans at the harvest festival. But Suriya hasn’t revealed anything since the holiday started. Many have shared their concerns on social media.

Suriya also has Vetri Maaran’s Vaadi Vaasal in his cat, one of the actor’s most anticipated films. Suriya plays a Jallikattu fighter in the film for the first time in his career. He even breeds two bulls to get into the character’s shoes.
