There is also a DA backlog of employees from January 2020 to June 2021 that has not yet been issued by the government. Workers’ unions are constantly demanding that the government release the arrears. Now, according to the latest update, the government could soon make a decision on an 18-month payment arrears.
There is also concern about increasing the fitness factor. Earlier reports suggested that the government could give this as a New Year’s bonanza.
