Mira regularly shares photos of her actor husband Shahid Kapoor, their new duplex and candid photos and videos of their kids, Misha and Zain. Mira, a content creator and also associated with a beauty brand, recently voiced her objection to being labeled a “star woman” by the media. Speaking on the online chat show, Social Media Star With Janice Season 5, Mira said, “We should get over it now. Maybe it was an association you had to make for memory value. But even if you put that on a kid, and you say star kid, people don’t like to listen to ‘star kid’ because of all its nepotistic connotations and stuff.”

“But that term is still being used, like it has to find its way out and I’ve never understood the concept of a star woman either, what does that mean?” she added. When wondering why a star’s husband is not called a star husband, Mira asked, “You can have an actor or celebrity or a star who has a wife or a husband, no one says star husband, why is there a star -female? “
