Uorfi Javed’s quirky outfits and unconventional fashion sense keep her in the spotlight all the time. She is both praised and cheated on the internet and her daring outfits are sometimes considered offensive. BJP leader Chitra Wagh who recently said Urfi should be arrested for ‘indulging in nudity on the streets of Mumbai’. After a heated exchange in the form of statements to the media, Uorfi filed a complaint against Chitra, citing criminal harassment.

While this ongoing battle between the two women keeps Urfi in the news, she is now going viral for a completely different reason. On January 15, the winner of “Miss Universe 2022” was announced. This time, American R. Bonnie Gabriel took home the title of “Miss Universe”. This event attracted a total of 84 participants. Divita Rai, representing India, failed to find a place in the top 5. On the other hand, a video by Urfi Javed quickly became a social media buzz once the winner was announced.

“This dress is inspired by the familiar environment of my childhood. Growing up with parents of garbage collectors, my childhood life consisted of piles of garbage and recyclables. This one-of-a-kind dress was purposely tailored using discarded and recycled materials, namely the ‘Can Tab’ to show the UNIVERSE that what is considered worthless by many actually possesses its own value and beauty,” Anna Suengam wrote in her mail.
