IPL 2023 is scheduled for March, April and May 2023. The exact date of the tournament inauguration will be announced by BCCI in the coming days. It has been confirmed that 74 matches will be played between the ten teams in this edition of the 2023 Indian Premier League. There will be many two headers in IPL 2023, and the day matches will start at 3:30 PM while the night matches will start at 7:30 PM.

Gujarat Titans won the cup last year while Rajasthan Royals came in second. The team led by Hardik Pandya will defend its title against the 9 teams including Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings and Lucknow Super Giants.

The media rights for IPL 2023 have been purchased by Star Sports Network and Viacom18. IPL’s TV rights are with Star Sports Network, while digital rights are with Viacom18. One can stream the IPL 2023 live on Star Sports 1 and 2 on TV. On the other hand, JioCinema, the digital streaming platform of Viacom18, will broadcast the live matches of IPL 2023 for free in 11 languages.
