Nora Fatehi has recorded a new statement in Delhi’s Patiala House Court in connection with her alleged involvement in the 215 crore admonition case involving alleged con artist Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Nora said she was told that while “many actresses were dying to be groomed by Sukesh,” he wanted her. She added that he promised her a “big house” if she agreed. Aside from Nora, actors Jacqueline FernandezNikki Tamboli, Chahatt Khanna and others have also been linked to Sukesh amid his alleged money laundering case which has been in the news since last year. Now, except Jacqueline Fernandez, Nora Fati has also accused Sukesh Chandrashekhar of lying to her. In Nora’s statement in court in connection with the alleged racketeering case, the actor and reality TV personality reportedly said that Sukesh had promised her “a big house and a luxurious lifestyle” if she agreed to become his girlfriend. Nora said the alleged scammer “sought inappropriate favors from her” through his close aide Pinky Irani.

As reported by India Today, Nora Fatehi said in her deposition in court, “Many actresses would love to be looked after by Sukesh (Pinky Irani said). At first I didn’t know who Sukesh was. Later I thought he worked at a company called LS Corporation. I had no personal contact and never had conversations with him. I had no idea about this and I never met him. The only time I saw him was when the ED confronted me at the office.

Nora Fatehi’s recent statement came days after she appeared before the Patiala House Court in Delhi and recorded her statement in connection with the racketeering case. Her statement served as evidence and is now being treated as a witness in the present case, reports indicate. Nora also said in her statement that she only came to know that Sukesh Chandrashekhar was a fraudster when she was summoned by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in connection with the 215 crore extortion case. She also reportedly said she was a “victim” in the case involving Sukesh and was not involved in money laundering. However, the ED had accused Nora of receiving gifts from Sukesh, including cars, diamonds and designer bags.
