Filmmaker Vivek Agnichotri broke his silence days after his wife actor Pallavi Joshi had an accident on the sets of his upcoming movie The Vaccine War. Vivek took to Twitter on Wednesday and posted a candid photo of Pallavi Joshi smiling as she sat at a table. She was wearing a white jacket and looking at someone. Vivek captioned the post: “On behalf of #PallaviJoshi I would like to thank all her well-wishers and fans for their concern. A car ran over her foot during shooting. The bone will have a long way to heal but she stumbled back to sets today to give her a chance. Show must go on. (folded hands emojis).”

Gulshan Devaiah responded to the post, noting, “Aiyyo. Wishing her a full and speedy recovery.” Several fans also wished Pallavi good health. One person tweeted, “Anxious to hear the news. Get well wishes to her.” “Warmest wishes for a speedy and healthy recovery,” she said.

Earlier, Vivek’s team had confirmed that Pallavi was injured on the film’s sets when she was hit by a vehicle. The accident happened in Hyderabad where Pallavi was filming. Pallavi’s accident occurred when the vehicle lost control and hit her. According to reports, she continued to shoot after her injury.

Vivek recently started shooting his next directorial film, The Vaccine War. He had announced The Vaccine War in November 2022 and also unveiled the official poster of the movie. He had written, “Announcement: Presenting The Vaccine War” – an incredible true story of a war you didn’t know India fought. And won with its science, courage and great Indian values. The film will be released on August 15 in 11 languages: Hindi, English, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Urdu and Assamese. The project is being produced by Pallavi Joshi’s I Am Buddha Productions and Abhishek Agarwal through his banner Abhishek Agarwal Arts. The movie stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar and Sapthami Gowda.
